Tour Program
– Day 1 - Arrival in Helsinki: Welcome to Finland
Your unforgettable Finland vacation begins in Helsinki, the country’s vibrant seaside capital. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your friendly private driver and transferred smoothly to your centrally located hotel.
After check-in, you’re free to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll along the harbor. Explore nearby cafés and restaurants. Or simply relax and settle into the Nordic rhythm. Your hotel’s prime location puts the city’s highlights right at your doorstep.

+ Day 2 - Helsinki City Highlights & Suomenlinna Fortress
After breakfast, it’s time to get up close and personal with Helsinki on a private guided tour. This panoramic experience takes you through the city’s historic center and elegant diplomatic quarters.
You’ll see Senate Square, the Presidential Palace, City Hall, and the Parliament Building, while also admiring Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. If it’s open, we’ll step inside the iconic Church in the Rock, an architectural masterpiece carved directly into solid stone.
Later, we’ll embark on a scenic boat journey to Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spread across several islands. Explore this historic sea fortress while learning about Finland’s maritime history and strategic past. All brought to life by your private guide. The coastal charm of sea views and fortress walls makes this a true highlight of any Finland tour package.
– Day 3 - Porvoo’s Old Town & Overnight Train to Lapland
Following breakfast, it’s time to set off on a half-day private excursion to Porvoo. Get ready for one of Finland’s oldest and most picturesque towns. Wander through its cobblestone streets and colorful wooden houses while your guide shares stories of its medieval roots.
You’ll enjoy a local lunch before returning to Helsinki, where the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. In the evening, it’s off to the train station for your overnight journey north.
This is no standard overnight journey though. As you travel comfortably in a private sleeper cabin, the Finnish countryside gradually gives way to Arctic landscapes, which look dramatically different in the spring, summer, and autumn months. It’s a relaxing, memorable way to journey deeper into Lapland.
– Day 4 - Santa Claus Village & Arctic Wildlife
Arriving in Rovaniemi by morning, your driver will meet you directly at the train coach and transfer you to your centrally located hotel. Then it’s onto one of Finland’s most magical attractions. Of course, we’re talking about Santa Claus Village.
Spend time soaking up the festive atmosphere, which continues throughout spring, summer, and autumn. You can send postcards from Santa’s official post office, meet Santa himself, and you may even see real-life reindeer. Don’t forget to capture some unforgettable photos right on the Arctic Circle!
We will take you 70 km beyond Rovaniemi, where your adventure continues with a visit to Ranua Zoo, the northernmost zoo in the world. Expect an ethical approach to wildlife tourism with spacious, natural habitats for Arctic animals. As you explore, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges these animals face in the wild and the importance of conservation in the Arctic region.
– Day 5 - Arktikum Museum & Glass Igloo Experience
Fuel up with breakfast before our driver picks you up for a private guided tour of the Arktikum Museum. This striking riverside museum offers a fascinating insight into Arctic history, culture, and nature. Not to mention the story of life above the Arctic Circle.
Later, we’ll travel further north by bus, right into the heart of Lapland. Then feast your eyes on tonight’s accommodation. Your very own glass igloo set beneath the vast Lappish sky. Yes, it’s really yours for two nights!
Arrive to a warm dinner and receive the keys to your private 90m² Glass Igloo Suite. Designed for total immersion and equipped with every premium facility for a seamless stay, your suite features a private sauna for traditional Finnish relaxation, a cozy fireplace, and a kitchenette for quiet mornings. With full climate control and ensuite facilities, you’ll enjoy breathtaking, panoramic sky views and the ethereal glow of the Midnight Sun in an environment of pure luxury and tranquility.
On clear nights, you’ll have a great chance of spotting the northern sky glowing overhead. A spectacular natural light show from the warmth of your bed. What could be better?

– Day 6 - Sámi Culture & Reindeer Encounters
After a hearty breakfast, set off for an authentic Arctic encounter at our local husky farm. Get to know these spirited sled dogs and their way of life during the bright summer months. The highlight of your visit? A heart-melting meet-and-greet with our incredibly adorable husky puppies – a perfect opportunity for photos and cuddles.
In the afternoon, we’ll take you to Inari in a private car. We hope you’re ready for another unforgettable cultural encounter. You’ll be welcomed into the home of a local Sámi family, where authentic Lappish hospitality awaits.
Your hostess, Tuula, lives in remote wilderness near Lake Muddus alongside her herd of reindeer. You’ll meet and feed these gentle animals while learning about Sámi traditions and daily life in the Arctic. Not to mention the history of her home. You’ll also observe the traditional process of creating Sámi fur boots, offering rare insight into this ancient craft.
*Please note that this activity may occasionally be replaced with an alternative experience.
As evening falls, enjoy a delicious dinner, and embrace the deep stillness of the surrounding Arctic landscape.
+ Day 7 - Return to Rovaniemi & Overnight Train
After a delicious breakfast and check-out, a bus transfer will take you back to Rovaniemi. This gives you some relaxed free time to revisit your favorite spots and shop for souvenirs. Or maybe you’d prefer to simply take in the atmosphere one last time?
In the evening, you’ll board a peaceful overnight Santa Claus Express train back to Helsinki. Travel in the comfort of a private sleeper cabin with picturesque landscapes setting the tone for a restful night.
+ Day 8 - Departure from Helsinki
Arrive in Helsinki in the morning and enjoy a private transfer to the airport. This is where your Finland tour package comes to an end, leaving you with lasting memories of countless cultural discoveries and unforgettable Arctic experiences.
