In the evening we make our way by car outside of Rovaniemi, away from the city lights.
From there we walk to a peaceful location in search of the Aurora Borealis – the Northern Lights. While admiring the nature’s theatrical performance we fry sausages and enjoy the great aroma of the fire.
If the sky is clear we may see the Aurora Borealis dancing in the sky! Before returning to Rovaniemi, we visit by an old building “Poro-Pekan Pirtti”.
The hosts will welcome us and take us into the the past by showing us their dwelling.
