In the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed into the home of a local Sámi family, experiencing the warmth of genuine Lappish hospitality. Your hostess lives in a remote wilderness, where she shares her life with a friendly herd of reindeer. You’ll have the chance to meet and feed the animals while learning about the unique history of the host’s home and what daily life in this tranquil, off-the-grid environment is like today. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll travel to Kirkenes by shuttle bus, arriving around 11:00 AM.
