Through collaborative exhibitions by the Nature Centre of Metsähallitus and the National Museum of the Finnish Sámi, you’ll explore the region’s traditions, art, and environment in depth. A restaurant is also available on-site for your convenience.

In the afternoon, you’ll be welcomed into the home of a local Inari resident, experiencing the warmth of genuine Lappish hospitality. Your hostess, Tuula, lives in a remote wilderness setting by Lake Muddus, where she shares her life with a friendly herd of reindeer. You’ll have the chance to meet and feed the animals, while learning about the unique history of Tuula’s home and what daily life in this tranquil, off-the-grid environment is like today. After a delicious breakfast, you’ll travel to Kirkenes by shuttle bus, arriving around 11:00 AM.
