The Hotel Rantasipi Pohjanhovi is a four star, premium hotel situated in the centre of Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. Located on the banks of the Kemijoki River, the hotel is located close to Lordi Square, Lappia House, and Arktikum. It is also conveniently located for the University of Lapland and the Ethnographic Museum. The hotel dates back to 1936, and was legendary as being the most refined hotel in the Arctic Circle. Rebuilt, renovated and expanded over the years, the hotel was most recently renovated at the beginning of the new millennium. Fully non-smoking, the hotel has a total of two hundred and twelve guest rooms, ranging from single to deluxe. One room has a bubble pool, and twenty nine have bathtubs. All rooms have television, radio, pay TV, hair dryer, and free WiFi. Deluxe rooms also have a mini bar.
